Strategy

A growth strategy designed to drive performance

In just a few years, Tofane has built a major player in international communication services. Its model is based on three pillars: external growth, technological pooling, and diversification into new services for fast-growing clients.

Our Vision

Alexandre Pébereau founded Tofane based on a clear insight: national operators and major digital platforms needed an alternative to international telecom groups—one capable of maintaining a global, secure network, directly or via a minimal number of intermediaries, connecting every phone worldwide. The COVID-19 pandemic, with global lockdowns, as well as the war in Ukraine accompanied by large-scale cyberattacks, provided iBASIS with the opportunity to prove its resilience and reliability. In 2021, it was awarded Best International Voice Operator, the most prestigious industry award, granted by a jury composed of peers and competitors. This model attracted investors, enabled the rapid creation of a global player, and established iBASIS as a central platform in the ecosystem.

Our Markets

Through iBASIS, Tofane addresses four strategic segments:

Cybersecurity

Attacks targeting telecommunications networks are multiplying. Since the COVID-19 crisis, new and increasingly sophisticated forms of fraud have emerged, prompting governments and regulators to strengthen their frameworks to ensure user security.

In this context, communication operators are expected to invest nearly $9.89 billion in cybersecurity solutions by 2022.

Tofane invests and innovates in anti-fraud, attack detection, and prevention solutions covering all communication uses: Voice, VoIP, SMS A2P, mobile data, and IoT.

Our innovations rely on emerging technologies—machine learning, artificial intelligence, the metaverse—as well as the expertise of our data scientists.

Data & Cloud

Driven by enterprise digitalization, the cloud numbering market is expected to grow by approximately 14% between 2021 and 2025.

With the rise of remote work and digital usage, use cases are multiplying. One of the most striking examples—accelerated by the health crisis—is the widespread adoption of Microsoft Teams.

Tofane enables operators to integrate international calling and cloud numbering directly into Teams, providing businesses with unified communication services accessible anywhere in the world.

Technological Integration

Each segment is available on a dedicated digital platform, optimized for quality of service, automation, and artificial intelligence.

Value Sharing

Tofane builds long-term loyalty among its talents and employees through BSPCE equity schemes, sharing the value created to align stakeholder interests. The company pursues a goal of sustainable performance.
